I just love this quick and easy meal. You can toss it all on the grill together and in 20 minutes dinner is done!

If you are making this on a traditional grill, you will want to use some form of griddle for the veggies.

Two Ways to Cook Your Veggies on Ninja Foodi Grill

If you are using the Ninja Foodi Grill you have two options for how to cook your veggies.

  • For both you will need to use the main insert pan with the grill attachment.
  • If you prefer your vegetables to be more crisp and dry, place them on one side of the grill insert and your sausages on the opposite site.
  • However if you prefer your veggies to be more sauteed, place them down in the main insert pan and place the griddle pan over top of them and then add sausages to the grill.

Grilled Sausage, Peppers and Onions Notes

  • We used the Ninja Foodi Grill for this recipe, but you can use a traditional grill with a griddle pan if you desire.
  • If you are counting carbs, you can reduce the amount of onion if you would like.
  • The type of sausage you use will vary in carb counts. Check your labels.
  • We used brats in this recipe, but you can use any link sausage or smoked sausage.
  • If you prefer your vegetables to be more crisp and dry, place them on one side of the grill insert and your sausages on the opposite site.
  • However if you prefer your veggies to be more sautรฉed, place them down in the main insert pan and place the griddle pan over top of them and then add sausages to the grill.
  • We haven’t tried it, but you can use the original Ninja Foodi using the broil feature.

Made this tonight on my Ninja 5-in-1 Grill. Grilled the onions and peppers right alongside the stuffed farmerโ€™s sausage that I opted to use. It turned out fantastic! Thank you!
