How to Grill Shrimp
Cris here.
My family loves shrimp. For about as long as I can remember, anytime we were grilling out with my parents, Mikey would always make them a version of this grilled shrimp recipe. And, now that I have my low carb cocktail sauce recipe, that is a-okay with me!
This dish can be an amazing appetizer or delicious main dish. You could even use it to make the shrimp for a pretty yummy grilled Shrimp Po’Boy sandwich.
This recipe is very versatile. If you want to add some spices, go right ahead! Cajun spices are especially yummy if you can take the heat. We have used Slap Your Mama Seasoning for a kick in the past.
Notes on Easy Grilled Shrimp Recipe
- We love using our Ninja Foodi Grill to make this recipe, especially when we are on the road with our RV or a rainy day at home when we don’t want to fire up the outdoor grill.
- If you like a more spicy shrimp, feel free to add additional spices.
- Or, you could always add a bit more horseradish to your cocktail sauce! Here is how we make ours.
General Notes
- We like to use the Ninja Foodi Grill as an indoor option for our grill recipes.

I don’t have a Ninja Foodi but I have a PowerXL smokeless grill (it’s an inside grill). Do you think that would work? Can’t afford a Ninja at this time but would love to try this.
We haven’t tried this on a PowerXL smokeless grill, but think it should work. However, the cooking times may vary. Make sure you watch it closely the first time you make it so you can adjust the cooking time as needed. Enjoy!
