Do you love wings? This Crock Pot Chicken Wing Dip from Gooseberry Patch’s Slow-Cooker Christmas Favorites is seriously the best wing dip ever!
Aunt Lou here.
As you can tell from all the buffalo flavored recipes I do, Michael absolutely loves chicken wings and anything buffalo flavored. Before we met, he would go out for wings at least once, if not two or three times, every single week! So when I saw this Crock Pot Chicken Wing Dip, I knew I had to give it a try.
Like I said, Michael LOVES anything buffalo flavored. So I knew I would get praise from Michael. He was elated at just the smell of it when he walked in the door.
Once he tasted it, he kept saying “What did you do different?! This is seriously the BEST chicken wing dip you have ever made! It is the BEST I have ever had!” High praise my friends…high praise!
So when I say that this has been declared the best Crock Pot Chicken Wing Dip ever, it is coming from a chicken wing connoisseur. (And yes, I googled how to spell connoisseur. 😉 )
Also, I am a wimp when it comes to spicy foods. It literally burns me. The flavor of this Crock Pot Chicken Wing Dip was SO good that I couldn’t stop eating it! It was spicy and had a kick, but man it was good!

Crock Pot Chicken Wing Dip Notes:
- My 3 qt crock pot worked perfectly for this Crock Pot Chicken Wing Dip. That is generally the slow cooker I use for my dips anyway since it always seems to be the perfect size. So any 3 quart slow cooker will work great though.
- As with any of our recipes, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
- All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.

Hi Chris,
I am in Australia and some of your ingredients are unknown to me. What is cayenne hot pepper sauce and could you suggest a substitute.
I have also noticed in some recipes you use cheese soup. We dont have that here . What can be used as an alternative?
Many Thanks
Shane
The Cayenne Hot Pepper Sauce I use is Frank’s RedHot Sauce. Is that available to you? It is a buffalo flavor sauce. I found a recipe online for condensed cheese soup substitute that you might give a try: http://www.tastebook.com/recipes/2710749-Condensed-Cheddar-Cheese-Soup-Substitute. Enjoy!
What brand hot sauce do you use and is 1 cup correct? WOW! Sounds good but hot!!
We are a Frank’s Red Hot Sauce family. And yes, that is correct! It is crazy hot (for my wimpy taste buds, but my husband thinks it is perfect), but the flavor is amazing!
