Whew… the holiday season was a busy one, wasn’t it? I can’t help but tell y’all how full my heart is… Truth be told, I struggled a lot this holiday season for a lot of reasons, but I have to tell you the time I have spent with friends and family this season was so precious.

I have lots of stories to share with you in the coming weeks, but today I realized one of our tried and true recipes was NOT on this site. I can hardly believe with the hundreds of recipes on this site I had not shared my Crock Pot Cocktail Weenies yet!

Crock Pot Cocktail Weenies

So, without further ado, here is our super duper easy recipe for Crock Pot Cocktail Weenies. Note: I used my favorite non-stick (light weight) 6 qt crock pot but any 5-6 qt slow cooker should do just fine.

Ingredients

  • 28 oz lil smokies sausages (2-14 oz pkgs)
  • 14 oz can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 12 oz bottle chili sauce this one is my favorite

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into the slow cooker and mix well.
  • Cook on low for 3-4 hours

    I’ve never made these with Chili Sauce & Cranberry Sauce….my recipe is BBQ Sauce and Grape Jelly. Does the Chili Sauce give it a little kicK? I like how the sweet cuts the acidity. I will have to give this a try!

    1. Yeah my mom taught me heinz chili sauce, grape jelly, little brown sugar and weenies or frozen mini meatballs for holiday appetizers.
      It isnโ€™t spicy, my mom doesnโ€™t care for any spice either. Enjoy it.

    I have one where I use Grape Jelly and barbecue Sauce any flavor will do they are very good cook for the same amount of time on low they are really good and very easy to make great for parties or foot ball games when you have alot of people over enjoy.
