How to Make Sausage Sesame Soup in a Slow Cooker

Cris here.

My family loves our Crock Pot Savory Slaw, but the other day I didn’t have any slaw to make it and I didn’t want to take the time to shred my cabbage , so I decided to try to make a soup with it’s flavor instead. The results were fantastic! We absolutely loved this low carb soup. Yum!

Notes on Sausage Sesame Soup

  • We used chicken broth, but you can use beef or vegetable broth if you’d prefer.
  • We used 1/2 head of a large head of cabbage. You can use a small head if that is what available. Cabbage varies in size but you are looking for around 4-6 cups chopped.
  • The bacon is optional… if bacon is optional for you ;).
