It all started with this fantastic Crock Pot Pork Roast and Veggies…
Then we loved this twist to our regular crock pot whole chicken.
Since then, I have been flipping through all the sections marking my MUST-TRY list.

I love the Pork Roast with veggies. I takes me right back to my childhood and my Children love it for Sunday dinners!
The meal that reminds me of home is pot roast, mashed potatoes , gravy, carrots, green beans , and corn…We have it every Sunday!
Wow those pictures of the food look really good!.
So the food that really reminds me of home is my fried chicken, rice, and potato salad, and mixed vegetables. ๐ mmmmm… <3 it!
CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS REMIND ME OF HOME. THEY ALSO REMIND ME OF ALL MY AUNTS, GRANDMA’S AND MY MOTHER. THEY ALL MADE THE BEST CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS. I ALWAYS MAKE A DOUBLE BATCH. I CAN EAT THEM FOR BREAKFAST, DINNER AND SUPPER. I CAN EAT THEM HOT OR COLD.

Beef pot roast with potatoes and carrots, with pie for dessert. My Mom made this almost every Sunday.
Swiss Steak and pan gravy. I loved the lickens from the pan when dinner was served. Makes my mouth water just thinking of it, LOL!
Fried catfish, fried okra and cornbread….home sweet home!!!
A dish known in the family as “Great Grandma’s Sandwich”, consists of a buttermilk biscuit, fried green tomato slices, bacon and fresh lettuce from the garden. So yumalicious. I haven’t had it since she died 51 years ago, at the age of 106. Not the same without her.
I love any crock pot recipes because fix it let it go. I can go shopping to the beach play with grandkids and at the end of the day dinner is ready… So nice…
The dish that reminds me of home is Fried Chicken, Greens Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Biscuits with chicken gravy, Pies and Banana Pudding. My Mam made this every Sunday afternoon. Yum!!!!
Fried chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits – all remind me of times with my Mom.
Oh, def a great big ole Turkey dinner!!!! Everything homemade!!

Almost too many to name that remind me of home–gumbo, potato salad, any kind of beans or peas, fried pork chops, fried chicken, banana pudding, meat loaf, daddy’s barbecued ribs and chicken. Daddy only barbecued meat and boiled seafood, the kitchen was Mama’s territory. Would love to win this cook book!
My very favorite would be Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs!

Pork roast and vegetables. My mom didn’t have a crock pot so it simmered on the stove but smelled delicious.
Anything with dumplings is a winner for my husband. Add some homemade biscuits and a vegetable and see what happens. Love seeing new recipes.

Fried pork chops.Had them every Thursday. I even dated a guy that would show up every week just in time for supper.
