I was raised on Pork Steaks growing up in the midwest (St. Louis) but when I moved to Texas, I never saw them again. Apparently it’s not a thing of the south. But…now we have Aldi, known for their great meat products and low and behold, pork steaks!

Yay! I’m so glad you can make this now Tiffany! Enjoy!

Hi, could you use thick pork chops for this recipe?

      Hi Kim!

I haven’t tried this recipe with thick cut chops, but think it could work. Make sure you watch it closely the first time you make it so you can adjust the cooking time accordingly. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

  5. exactly what IS a pork steak? Never heard of them….maybe it’s a pork roast and cut into very thick slices?
