We love homemade guacamole! This has been our go-to recipe for years. Now that we eat low carb, it is a regular side dish as a topping for steak, grilled chicken or burgers. We also enjoy it with low carb dippers.

ADDITIONAL LOW CARB DIPPER OPTIONS

Below are some additional options for low carb dippers to enjoy dips while maintaining your low carb lifestyle.

Homemade Guacamole Recipe Notes:

  • The basic recipe is just equal parts avocado and lime juice with salt and minced garlic to taste. Easy peasy.
  • This is my go-to juicer.
  • Now if you have really large limes, I sometimes reduce the limes… but in general if I pick up two avocados, I pick up two limes. If I choose 4 avocados, I use 4 limes… so on and so forth.
  • I make it in a bowl with a fork or sometimes I throw it into my food processor (especially if my avocados are a bit firmer).
  • I only make up enough for what we will eat in one sitting. It is too easy to whip together not to always have fresh.
  • Looking for more recipes? Ourย Recipe Finderย can help you find exactly what you need.
  • Check out all our favorite recommendations for cookbooks,ย slowย cookers and low carb essentials in ourย Amazon Influencer Shop.
  • As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.ย The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
