Aunt Lou here.

This week has been insane (and I’m not even sure why!). I feel like it has been two steps forward and three steps back all week long. We all have those weeks from time to time…or all the time…so it is nice to have a quick and easy recipe in your back pocket to pull out when life gets crazy.

Easy Teriyaki Beef

This Easy Teriyaki Beef is now on my list of recipes that helps me out when I don’t have time to cook. It took no more than TWO MINUTES…probably less, I’ll have to time myself next time 😉 …to throw together. It really doesn’t get much faster than that!

The original recipe didn’t specify what kind of noodles to serve this over. I had seen the Amish Noodles at Ruler and been curious how they were. They kind of looked like the noodles that were in the picture in my cookbook, so I thought I would give them a try. I’m glad I did! They were the perfect compliment to this delicious Easy Teriyaki Beef!

Slow Cooker Recommendation

For this Easy Teriyaki Beef, I used my 3 qt crock pot. Since this used only 1 1/2 lbs of meat, I knew that it would fit nicely in my smaller crock. It turned out perfectly.

In this recipe you refer to Amish noodles? Is that a certain type of noodle or do you make a recipe of Amish noodles

      Hi Donna!

The grocery store I go to has Essenhaus brand Amish Noodles. For this recipe I buy the narrow or homestyle noodles. I’ll put an affiliate link below so you can see what the packaging looks like. Enjoy!

Can anything else be used besides the pineapple? Or cud the pineapple chunks be used instead? Not sure my 3yr old daughter will like the pineapple cooked.

      Hi Cristin!

Pineapple chunks should work just fine! Enjoy!

This sounds delish and I am going to make it this weekend!

Can I use regular steak with this? A London Broil, perhaps?

    Thank you,
    Kristin

      Hi Kristin!

I have tried it with boneless beef chuck steak, but other cuts will likely work as well. You may have to adjust cooking times depending on size and cut of meat and how long it takes to make the meat tender. Enjoy!

    Hi Aunt Lou,
Don’t you stir in the meat with the marinade and pineapple?

      Hi Annelies!

You can if you like, but it all cooks up together quite nicely with placing the beef on top!

      Enjoy!

What is teriyaki marinade please. Can you buy it? Or do you have to make it.

      Hi Joan!

Teriyaki Marinade is something you can buy at the grocery store. Personally, we used the Kroger brand, and it was great!

      Enjoy!

We love hearing from you, it totally makes our day! Please remember, our comment section is much like our dinner table... You don't have to like everything we serve up, but you do have to use your manners.
