Aunt Lou here.
So, this was my very first recipe using an Instant Pot solo. I was a tidbit unsure, but after a quick call to my personal (and yours!) expert, aka Cris, I was on my way! I was floored that this Meat Lover’s Instant Pot Chili was done after only 15 minutes of cooking! How awesome is that?! And the flavor? Perfection!

Meat Lover’s Instant Pot Chili Notes
- When making this recipe, I only had 3 tablespoons of chili powder, so I grabbed my cumin and used 1 tablespoon of it. The flavor was awesome. However, I know the flavor of this recipe is good with only using chili powder as well, so you can choose what you prefer!
- This Meat Lover’s Instant Pot Chili goes great with our Crock Pot Seasoned Crackers!
- We used a 6 quart Instant Pot to make this recipe. Using an electric pressure cooker is a great convenience in the kitchen, but ALWAYS follow your manufacturer’s recommendations for safety.
- If using a smaller pot, you may need to reduce the recipe to avoid overflow. If using a larger pot, you may need to add additional liquid.
- Also, DO NOT EVER cover the vent of your electric pressure cooker.

- As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
- Finally, all electric pressure cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own electric pressure cooker and time adjusted as needed.

Sounds great, but I see pasta in the picture but not in any of the ingredients. What am I missing?
So sorry about that! I have fixed the recipe card. Enjoy!
Gotta try this. Sounds awesome, and since moving to the North Ga mountains we’ve really become chili connoisseurs.
I just got an insta pot haven’t used it yet but I think today’s the day. Think I’ll try this recipe if I have all the ingredients. If it turns out I’ll send pictures. Thanks.
