How to Make Beef Noodles in a Crock Pot
Updated with video:
Cris here.
When Reames® recently contacted me and asked us to share a recipe using their frozen homestyle egg noodles in a sponsored post, I was so excited. I have loved using their product for years. I just knew we could share something with you guys that was super easy to make at home while having all that taste of homemade goodness that just reminds you of childhood like great comfort food always does… and then it hit me… Slow Cooker Beef Noodles.
Growing up on a beef farm, Slow Cooker Beef Noodles just says home to me. This is especially true as the days get chillier here in Indiana. I LOVE coming home from a long day and being able to to take a fall apart roast from my crock pot that has been cooking all day, shred it and toss in a bag of Reames® frozen homestyle egg noodles (Psst… check out their coupons here) and we have a cozy warm meal.
Reames® makes homemade meals like our Slow Cooker Beef Noodles super easy. You get all the homemade taste without the mess and time to make the noodles. Instead I can just grab a bag from my freezer and toss straight into the slow cooker. An hour or two later, my family has one of our favorite meals that tastes like I have been working away in my kitchen all day long.

I had to ask you if anyone remembers when Reames would package their noodles with a seasoning pack to make Chicken Noodle Soup? It was the best and I was so sad when they stopped doing it. I can still get the noodles but not the soup kit. I really liked that the seasoning pack was just a package of dry ingredients so there was nothing else but noodles and the most delicious thick broth and chicken that you added after you cooked it and cut it up. I could eat it everyday!! I also added fresh carrots to mine!!
It’s been a number of years since I first had Reames noodles. I’ve loved them ever since and I’ve made a number of converts to them. When I saw this recipe, I knew I just had to try it. Thanks so much.
What does the Greek yogurt add to the recipe?
Plain Greek yogurt is a healthy substitution for sour cream, so I think it would probably make the noodles a bit like stroganoff. Plus it might help to thicken the broth a little bit too.
Our family will just love this pot of Beef and Noodles, looks like delicious comfort! Thanks so much for sharing this awesome post with us at Full Plate Thursday. Have a great week and best wishes for 2017!

Tried the crock pot beef noodles today. I think that I will add the noodles to the liquid before adding the shredded beef back in the next time I make it. This recipe is great for families who are dealing with lactose allergies.
My moms Chicken and dumpling soup reminds of home
My mom always made the best one dish chicken and rice in the oven. She wouldn’t tell me how and I have never figured it out.
The dish that reminds me of home is really a dinner that consists of three items — roast pork, bread dumplings, and sauerkraut. (Sounds similar to Robin C.’s dish above.) My mom made this meal often on Sundays. Wish I could cook like she did! Your beef noodles dish looks very good and easy, so I will try this in my mom’s slow cooker. I’m just learning how to cook in the slow cooker. I’m gathering numerous recipes from your site. Thank you for them!
I love all the recipes I have tried. But your crockpot apple crisp took me to my grandmother’s home. Thank you
Guess I will have to make a trip to walmart to get these noodles because this dish looks amazing!
My “reminds me of home” dish is my Mom’s beef vegetable soup. I miss that a lot. Miss her more though. Hold onto your parents, you don’t know how long you’ll have them.
Will have to try these beef and noodles, they look delicious.
Thanks to Reames for the chance to win a $50 Visa card.
Best of luck to all that enter and best wishes to everyone for a Happy 2017!
Mom always made meatloaf with potatoes and carrots cooked in the same roasting pan. Yum!
I love your crockpot recipes and can’t wait to try the corn on the cob!
