How to Make Seasoned Chicken Thighs in an Air Fryer

Aunt Lou here.

I absolutely love this recipe! We will be using this Air Fryer Seasoned Chicken Thighs recipe over and over again in my house for use! Not only is it super easy to throw together, it tastes amazing!

I do believe this is the easiest way to get crispy chicken! This recipe is perfect for a busy night when you don’t have time to stand over the stove and fry chicken to perfection. You can put this on, go do whatever it is you need to be doing around your house for the first 12 minutes of cooking. Then you just have to flip the chicken, sprinkle some more seasoning salt on and set it for another 12 minutes. Guess what?! You can go do what you need to do for the second half of cooking! It truly is one of the easiest recipes I have ever made, and this is coming from someone who sets out to make recipes as easy as possible all the time.

General Notes

  • The 1/2 cup of water is poured in the Air Fryer unit’s insert, underneath the basket, to help prevent smoking while cooking. If you want to do more than one batch, empty the water and grease from the insert between batches and add in an additional 1/2 cup of water for each batch made.

  • As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly. As a result, your nutritional content depends on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish. The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.
  • Finally, all air fryers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline. Recipes should always be tested first in your own air fryer and time adjusted as needed.
