Aunt Lou here.

When I made this Crock Pot Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole that I adapted from Gooseberry Patch’s 303 ‘Round the Clock Recipes, I had NO idea how well it would go over! We had a hard time getting Ryder (my 6 year old) to eat anything else on his plate! He just wanted more and more of this delicious dish!

How to Make Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole in a Crock Pot

Mix together your soup, sour cream, half of your butter, shredded cheese, salt and pepper. Pour your soup mixture into a lightly greased casserole crock pot or 6-quart crock pot. Sprinkle your hashbrowns evenly across the top of your mixture. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours. Mix together your remaining butter and corn flakes. Sprinkle across the top of your casserole and either cover and cook on high for an additional 10 minutes or put in your broiler on Hi for 90-120 seconds, until the topping is lightly golden.

  • As with any of our recipes, carb counts, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
  • All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.
