Aunt Lou here.
I was going through my cabinets trying to figure out what to do with my monster pack of pork chops I got on sale. I had a few trips to the grocery store in a row where I happened to forget that I had stuffing at home. So, I literally had 4 or 5 boxes of stuffing in the lazysuzie. I thought that sounded good with pork chops, but what elseโฆhmmm, there were my always-present cans of cream of mushroom soup. Then it hit me. Cris had made Crock Pot Chicken Stuffing Casserole that would work great with these pork chops!
I love that I had everything I needed right here at the house for this recipe. While I didnโt have chicken broth, I did have some chicken bouillon cubes in the cabinet to make some up with. I threw it together in no time flat. And even had time to throw together this Crock Pot Lemon Pepper Pork Chop recipe with the rest of my pork chops before the kids had meltdowns because mommy was cooking!

Crock Pot Pork Chop Stuffing Notes:
- For this yummy Crock Pot Pork Chop Stuffing, I used my Hamilton Beach Programmable Insulated Slow Cooker because it is straight up awesome! You can use your favorite 5-6 quart slow cooker.
- This recipe tends to be a little more moist than traditional stuffing casseroles, so if you prefer the drier texture, you may want to reduce your liquid in the recipe to at least 1.5 cups, however we like it as is.
- As with any of our recipes, calorie counts and nutritional information varies greatly depending on which products you choose to use when cooking this dish.
- All slow cookers cook differently, so cooking times are always a basic guideline and should always be tested first in your own slow cooker and time adjusted as needed.

Absolutely delish!!!! Make it, love it!
Made this tonight and my family loved it. Definitely will be in the rotation. We are a super busy family so throwing this all in a crock pot and coming home for dinner is a huge plus. Salad and some hot rolls and dinner is served.
Would i be able to make this in a casserole crock pot?
Hey Deb- Absolutely. It is one of our favorite slow cookers to use with this one. Enjoy!
Can you make this in a smaller crockpot using the exact recipe?
Sounds delish!! Can you cook it on high for a shorter amount of time? If so, how long would you cook it?
I haven’t tried cooking this recipe on high, but I think you could. If I were to try it, I would 2-3 hrs and check it frequently. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
Iโm amazed at how simple and easy this recipe is to pull together! It smells great and I made it today for the first time. My mouth is already watering. A must try!
LOVE THIS RECIPE
SO QUICK AND EASY
FRIENDS THINK I SLAVED OVER STOVE FOR HOURS
I meant try it in the crock pot!
My family has been making the oven version of this pork chop dish for many, many years! I can’t wait to dry it in the crock pot. Thank you for the instructions!
So easy and yummy! Thank you!
I made this once a while ago but I remember it being really good. We always add sautรฉed celery, onions, mushrooms, sausage and apples to our stuffing at Thanksgiving, so I added all that too. Mixed this up tonight so my husband can just start the crock pot tomorrow while I’m at jury duty. It’ll sure be nice to come home to dinner ready after that!
I make the chicken version and am looking forward to trying this pork chop recipe for a change of pace! Thanks for the recipe!
Add some dried cranberries to the stuffing
I make this often with my own homemade stuffing..It is delicious, and so easy. Thanks for this recipe!!
I loved this recipe! The dressing was on the soupy side so next time will decrease the water significantly. But otherwise a great meal!
Susan,
Prolly made 2 dozen variations of this recipe since I found it on this site.
Obviously a favorite of mine , but both Cris and Aunt Lou have posted in countless
threads we should adjust recipes to our personal preferences.
No water in this recipe , using canned chicken broth seriously steps up the taste of the stuffing..
I always use 2 boxes of stove top chicken stuffing ,CAUSE LOVE STUFFING…LOL
and usually use 1 1/2 cans / about 3 cups of broth.
The stuffing is a tad firmer/less like soup.
If using 1box of stuffing …1 1/2 cups of broth is plenty.
Standard for me, dice 1/2 an onion, add that and one small can of drained sliced mushrooms
to the stuffing mix. Again, personal preference . ๐
Lol ,..just put some boneless chops in the fridge to thaw…
Gonna change it slightly yet again….But honestly enjoyed every version, including the original!
Tracy
Doubled recipe, added sautรฉed celery, garlic, and onion to stuffing. Delicious, whole family loved it.
I am making this today! Can’t wait to try it, two of my favorite things! I did season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder on some onion flakes for a little taste. Cranberry sauce on the side, yum yum!
This was easy to make & serve. I didn’t have any cream of mushroom, so I used tomato soup with mushrooms added. It still worked well & eaten quite quickly.
Hi Joan here I am so looking forward to trying your stuffing and pork chops I think I’ll make it this Thursday sounds wonderful thank you for the recipe sweetheart you have a blessed week
Looking forward to making this dish. Wonder how thick your boneless porkchops are that you use?
My pork chops were about an inch thick. Enjoy!
