I know this will come to a shock to ya’ll, but Michael got a great deal on some delicious meats! At three bucks a roast, we loaded up on them! So what to do with all these roasts? They’re going in the crock pot for sure! This Easy Crock Pot Beef Roast recipe was inspired by our Crock Pot French Onion Beef Casserole and was a huge hit at our house. I bet it will be at yours as well!

How to Make Easy Beef Roast in a Crock Pot
Place your roast in a 4 quart crock pot. Sprinkle your onion soup mix on top of your roast and your mushrooms on and around it. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour your soup and broth around your roast. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Crock Pot Easy Beef Roast Notes:
- If your roast is not tender, then it isn’t done. Keep on cooking!
- I highly recommend cooking this recipe on low. With beef, low and slow works wonders even on tough cuts of meat.
- Michael and I both loved shredding the beef and putting it and the juices over brown rice. SOO yummy!
