With the Insta pot does the chicken need to be thawed out or can it be frozen?
Hi Christine!
It can be frozen, but the time will need to be adjusted from this recipe. I used thawed chicken in the above recipe.
Enjoy!

I made it with frozen chicken breasts tonight. I set the cook time to 20 minutes for the chicken. I did a quick release and shredded the chicken, then put it back in the instantpot. I threw some frozen broccoli in the instantpot and cooked it for 3 minutes. Added some cooked rice and let it all get to know each other. Yum!
That sounds great Ali! Thanks for letting us and our reader’s know how it worked with frozen chicken and with adding broccoli. Great idea!
This looks yummy! Plus I can use more pressure cooker recipes; my collection is small so far. However, 1 question: how much chicken broth? It isn’t listed in the ingredients. Thanks!
Sorry about that Cheryl! It is a cup and a half of broth. I have updated the recipe card.
Enjoy!
Aunt Lou
Did I just miss it or you did not specify how much chicken broth to add?
Sorry Sharon!
It is a cup and a half of broth. I have updated the recipe card.
Enjoy!
