Do you love a dump and go recipe as much as I do? This Cheesy Crock Pot Chicken from Gooseberry Patch’s Super Fast Slow Cooking is sure to become an instant family favorite. It is so simple to throw together and has a flavor that adults and kids alike love!
Aunt Lou here.
I have made this Cheesy Crock Pot Chicken before. It was actually one of my first times using my crock pot. I had no idea back then that this recipe would start a love affair with my crock pot. My first time around, it was summertime and I loved that I didn’t have to use my oven and heat up the house.
You see, I’m a bit weird when it comes to wastefulness. It is one of my biggest pet peeves. So paying to cool down the house while simultaneously heating it up with the oven just seems wasteful to me. My crock pot saved me from that irritation!
Cheesy Crock Pot Chicken – Ready in Snap!
It is winter now, so we definitely aren’t paying to cool the house down, but I have a new reason for loving this Cheesy Crock Pot Chicken. It is SO easy to throw together, even my prep-impaired self had it ready to go in less than 5 minutes.
Iyla had just woke up and wasn’t sure if she was pleased with being awake and in her vibrating rocking chair…aka the magic chair that every mom of an infant should have. (Thank you again Cris for that gift! It has proven useful time and time again! Seriously, if you need an idea for a baby shower gift, check out the latest version of this chair because the version I have is no longer manufactured and is $150 on Amazon…that is a bit of a price hike! The new mommy and daddy will thank you regardless of what version you buy!) Back to my morning…Ryder was emptying out my kitchen towel drawer on the floor in order to make a bed…who needs blankets when you can use every last kitchen towel to make a blanket right? So this momma needed to get back to giving her kiddos her full attention and still get dinner going…so this Cheesy Crock Pot Chicken was a life saver!

Slow Cooker Recommendation
For this recipe, I used my Hamilton Beach Programmable Insulated Slow Cooker. Any 6 quart slow cooker would do. This one is just so easy to clean up that I use it every time I can. The food literally falls off with just my kitchen sink sprayer.
