My family doesnโt like Velveeta cheese. Can I sub a different cheese?
I haven’t tried this with a different kind of cheese, but it might work with cheddar. The texture would definitely change. It wouldn’t be as creamy. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
Do you cook the chicken before?
No ma’am! Just throw it in after you have cubed it! Enjoy!
Hello, this recipe looks awesome!!
Must I use frozen noodles? There aren’t many frozen noodle options at my grocery store.
Hi Mrs. Moreno,
I haven’t tried this with regular noodles. The only frozen noodles available at my store are Reames Noodles, and we love them. Using regular noodles would change how much liquid is needed. There would also be the question of when to add them. Without trying it out first, I don’t want to make a recommendation on how to adjust the recipe and steer your wrong. However, if you do give it a try, let me know what you do and how it goes! Good luck!

I know I’m lame on this but what are frozen noodles?? Anxious to make this and I TOTALLY love all your awesome recipes. And thank you for NOT going to all instant pot stuff!! I’m too old to learn new things! ha ha
Hi Donna!
You can find them in your frozen foods section…usually near the frozen tortellini.
Thank you for your kind words! I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!
