So I’ve been playing around with my 6-quart Instant Pot lately to see if I can convert some of my favorite crock pot recipes into Instant Pot recipes. And you guys know I am all about easy and delicious…anyone with me? 😉 So, you know I had to try out my Easy Crock Pot Roast recipe in my Instant Pot. The results? Ah-mazing! With Michael’s first bite, he immediately said, “Oh my goodness! This is good!”
How to Make Easy Roast in an Instant Pot
Put your 3.5 lb beef roast in your 6-quart Instant Pot. Mix together your remaining ingredients and pour over your roast. Seal your lid and set on Manual high for 70 minutes. Make sure you turn it off after cooking is done so it doesn’t go to “Keep Warm”. After 15 minutes, quick release and serve once the pressure has completely released.

Instapot recipes I wasn’t even going to get one till I saw a couple of your Instapot shows Now I have it and love it THANK YOU ! My problem is trying to figure out the times for cooking if I have a larger piece of meat I bought an eight quart size Instapot
Cris says
Hi Linda!
We don’t have an 8 quart but your manual should give you a basic guideline on cooking times. You may also have to increase liquid some too. We have heard from our 8 quart readers that sometimes they need a little more liquid to reach pressure. Hope that helps!
