How to Make S’mores with a Ninja Foodi Air Fryer
Aunt Lou here.
Okay folks. I have seen multiple videos that show people “roasting” marshmallows with an air fryer. That seemed like the perfect jumping off point for Ninja Foodi S’mores with the air fryer (labeled as air crisp on the Ninja Foodi) function. I adjusted the recipe just a bit to make it work for regular marshmallows instead of the more expensive s’more or giant roaster marshmallows. With this recipe, you can make perfect s’mores with the cheapo bag of regular size marshmallows.
This recipe is wrote with 4 marshmallows. It worked perfectly. (Just a heads up that the marshmallows will roll around in the basket, it is okay.) I have also done a test run with 20 marshmallows, which was a full load for my Ninja Foodi. However, if you have a crowd to feed and want to do two rounds of marshmallows, you will either want to let your Ninja Foodi cool down between batches, or you will want to make your air frying time less for the second batch. I tried to make two batches in a row, and the second batch did not turn out well. If you need to make two batches without cooling down between them, you will want to keep watch on the second batch very closely to adjust the timing as needed.
