As you know, my favorite recipe growing up was Momma’s roast, potatoes and carrots. This is a recipe that is an instant favorite that will be asked for again and again. It is comfort food at it’s best. I plan on passing this recipe down through my family and hope that you will pass it down through yours too!
Perfect Pot Roast

Ingredients for Perfect Pot Roast
- 2-3 lb beef roast
- 5-6 potatoes peeled and sliced into wedges
- 1 bag of baby carrots
- 2 in medium onions sliced half
- 2 pkgs brown gravy mix
- 2 c water
- water
- foil
How to Make the Perfect Pot Roast in Your Oven
- Place your roast in a large, oven-safe pan
- Surround your roast with your potatoes, carrots and onion halves
- Mix together brown gravy mixes and 2 cups of water
- Pour over your roast and veggies
- Add additional water until your veggies are covered
- Top with foil
- Cook in your oven on 325 for 1.5-2 hours
