In the mood for Chinese food, but don’t want to pay for take out? This Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Chicken recipe from Gooseberry Patch’s Slow Cooking All Year ‘Round has all the flavor for a fraction of the price!
Like any mom out there, I want a nutritious meal on the table for my family each night. I also would like to do so without breaking the bank. And if it just so happens to be a crazy easy meal to throw together, then all the better!
Micheal and I both owned homes before we were married and have been trying to sell my house for almost three years. We have had offers over the years, but no one has ever been able to come through until just this month…hopefully we will have a closing date soon! (Imagine spending the first 3 years of your marriage paying two mortgages…fun fun!) So saving money for us has not only been an act of wise money management, it is of the utmost importance. We aren’t the only ones though. Most of America has their own story. So I love it when I can pass along a great recipe that is also inexpensive to make!
