Slow Cooker Angel Chicken Stuffing Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken Tenders (You can use chicken breasts but will need to cut them into tender size pieces to keep the same cooking time.)
- 1/4 cup Butter melted
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 box chicken stuffing mix unprepared
- 8 oz tub chive and onion cream cheese spread
- 10.75 oz Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 oz Package Italian Dressing Mix
Instructions
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, stir together your melted butter, chicken broth and stuffing mix until well combined and set aside.
- In a different medium sized mixing bowl, mix together your soup, cream cheese spread and Italian dressing mix until completely combined.
- Place your chicken tenders in the bottom of your casserole crock pot or 6-quart slow cooker.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly across the top of the chicken.
- Once your stuffing mix has completely absorbed the butter and broth, sprinkle it over the top of everything.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
- Serve chicken and stuffing together with angel sauce from the bottom of the crock pot spooned over top, if desired.
