This Cheddar Crock Pot Chicken Stuffing Casserole recipe is a variation of our yummy Crock Pot Chicken Stuffing Casserole and Crock Pot Turkey Stuffing Casserole recipes. You still get a delicious comfort food meal, but with a wonderful twist in the flavor!
This recipe does not give you a dry stuffing. It is very moist, and it has an incredible flavor. Of course, I love cheese. If you love cheese as well, then you are going to love this recipe too!
This is a great recipe when you need to cRock up some dinner without it taking all day to cook. The cooking time is only 2 to 3 hours on high, so this could be made on a weeknight as long as you didn’t get home too late. Whether you make this on a weeknight or weekend, I hope you and your loved ones enjoy it as much as we do!

What You Will Need
Ingredients Needed
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken, cut into bite size pieces
- 1ย teaspoon poultry seasoningย
- 10.75ย ozย can cheddar cheese soup
- 6ย ozย box stove top stuffing
- 1.5ย cupsย chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Equipment Needed
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Measuring spoon
- Can opener
- Medium size bowl
- Spoon or stirring spatula
- Measuring cups
- 6 quart slow cooker
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 7 minutes
- Cooking Time: 2 to 3 hours on high or 4 to 6 hours on high, ย turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly

Cheddar Crock Pot Chicken Stuffing Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into bite size pieces
- 1 teaspoon Poultry Seasoning or to taste, see note
- 10.75 oz Can Cheddar Cheese Soup
- 6 oz Box Stove Top Stuffing
- 1.5 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl mix stuffing and broth together and set aside.
- Place your cubed chicken in the bottom of your 6 qt slow cooker
- Sprinkle poultry seasoning over chicken.
- Pour soup over chicken and spread evenly.
- Once stuffing has absorbed all of the chicken broth pour evenly on top.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top of everything.
- Cover with lid and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly.
