How to Make Saucy Pork Chops in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

If you have tried our Low Carb Saucy Crock Pot Chicken, then you know why I wanted to make this Low Carb Crock Pot Saucy Pork Chops recipe. The saucy of these recipes is completely amazing. It is so flavorful.

I love how the flavor cooks into the pork chops and also gives you a wonderfully tender piece of meat. You will want to check your pork chops with a meat thermometer the first time you make this so you can get the perfect timing for your specific unit. The combination of the amazing sauce and delicious pork chops is too wonderful to mess up with dried out pork chops. Trust me, it is worth the extra few moments it takes to check the pork chops with your meat thermometer to give you the perfect meal.

If you are not low carb, I would highly recommend putting this recipe on top of a bed of pasta. The sauce is delicious on some yummy fettuccini or angel hair pasta…whatever kind of pasta you fancy!

Loved this with pork! Have you tried it with chicken breasts? If so, what slow cooker time on low?

I’m so glad you loved this recipe! We haven’t tried it with chicken breasts, but I have done it with chicken tenders. (https://www.recipesthatcrock.com/low-carb-saucy-crock-pot-chicken/) You could cut chicken breasts into tender size pieces to keep the cooking time the same, if you want. I haven’t tried this with a full chicken breast, but if I did, I would probably up the timing to 5 to 7 hours on low, depending on how your slow cooker cooks. If you give it a try, watch it very closely to know the exact timing of when it will be done, and let me know how it goes!

  2. This is so delicious! Making it right now for the second time in two weeks. Serving mine over riced cauliflower and husbandโ€™s over a baked potato. Add a salad and itโ€™s a perfect low carb meal! (For me) My granddaughter loves it!!

So yummy! I didn’t have garlic salt so I used seasoned salt. These were a hit!

  4. Has this recipe been tried out in the InstaPot?

I have not tried this in an Instant Pot yet. I will add it to my list of recipes to try. Thanks for the idea!

This is the first review I have ever written for a recipe because it deserves kudos! I donโ€™t like when people comment on a recipe and say I omitted that and added that & that & that, get your own blog! I followed the recipe exactly as written and it is fantastic! Such great flavor, pork chops can be so boring but not with this recipe! Thank you it is in my recipe box already!

  7. Iโ€™m confused…. Butter is listed twice at the top part of the page but only once on the actual recipe Card. Then cream cheese isnโ€™t listed at top but in the card. You mention checking the pork chops with thermometer. What temp should they be?
Iโ€™m running on little sleep so maybe itโ€™s me?!?

Jan, you are doing better than I am on little sleep! lol Thank you for catching those mistakes. I have corrected the post. It is only 1 stick of butter and an 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened. Here is a list from the FDA of Safe Minimum Internal Cooking Temperatures for all meats: https://www.fda.gov/media/93628/download. Thanks again for letting me know of the errors so I can correct them! I hope you enjoy this amazing recipe as much as we do!
