How to Cook Ramen Beef and Noodles in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

I recently made a yummy Ramen Crock Pot Chicken Noodle Soup. One of our readers, Laura, asked about making a similar recipe with beef. We had a package of stew meat in the freezer, so I knew what I was going to do, and now you have this delicious Ramen Crock Pot Beef and Noodles recipe! Ryder declared, “This is definitely a 5 star recipe!” I bet you will too!

I know stew meat can be expensive. However, every once in a while, you can catch a good deal on a pack. When you do, you will definitely want to try this recipe! Cooking ramen in a crock pot with meat really takes it up a few levels.

I tried making this in a 2 quart crock pot this time to see if it would fit. That way, I could let you good folks know if using a 2 quart slow cooker was even possible. By golly, it is! If you use a 2 quart crock pot, your insert will be very full, but it will work. However, if you want to use a 4 quart slow cooker, that will work too! I love having options, don’t you?!

What You Will Need

Ingredients Needed

  • 1 lb stew meat, cut into bite size pieces
  • 3 packs of beef ramen
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 cups water

Equipment Needed

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 4 to 6 hours on low or 2 to 3 hours on high (I recommend cooking on low if you have the time. Cooking beef low and slow can make even tough meat into deliciously tender meat.)

  1. How can the carb count be 1g? Regular ramen noodles are 27g. carbs per serving. Are these low carb ramen noodles? Please say they exist!

    1. 5 stars
      Hi Gems!

Unfortunately, I do not know of any low carb ramen noodles. The nutritional values are calculated with an automatic nutritional calculator. That is why we put “The auto-calculation is just an automated estimate and should NOT be used for specific dietary needs.” on all our posts. I have went in and manually changed the nutritional information to be more accurate. Sorry for the confusion!
