How to Make Turkey Stuffing Casserole in a Crock Pot

Youtube video

Aunt Lou here.

This Crock Pot Turkey Stuffing Casserole is a super yummy recipe for a weeknight or easy holiday dish for a smaller holiday meal. This recipe gives you your turkey, stuffing and a scrumptious gravy all in one dish!

There are so many things I love about this recipe! It is super simple to throw together, cooks quickly, and it is seriously like having Thanksgiving dinner in a casserole.

This recipe is based off of our Crock Pot Chicken Stuffing Casserole. I made a few tweaks to adjust it to our tastes, and it turned out amazing if I do say so myself! You will notice I took the broth down a half a cup and reduced the poultry seasoning down to a teaspoon. If you prefer to have the amounts from the original recipe, feel free to give it a try. I am sure it will turn out super yummy as well. However, I think it is delicious just how it is listed in the recipe card. I hope you and your family enjoy it as much as we do! Thanksgiving dinner with a fraction of the work!

Left over turkey is usually already cooked. How do these recipes fit in? What would you do differently with cooked vs. raw turkey.

      Hi Kate!

I have not made this recipe with leftover turkey yet. However, I think it could definitely be done. I would make it with the same measurements as the original recipe but cubing or cutting up the leftover turkey. The cooking time will be shorter. I would watch it closely starting around the 1-2 hour mark. With the turkey already being cooked, this will be done as soon as the stuffing is ready. If you give it a try, I would love to hear how it goes!

    Delicious and easy! 5 stars!

  3. Can I double this in a larger crockpot?

I haven’t tried doubling this recipe, but I think it might work in a larger crock pot. The timing may need adjusted, so watch it closely the first time you make it. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes.

Would it be possible to use cooked turkey leftovers? This looks scrumptious and easy!! Thank youo!

I haven’t tried this with cooked turkey leftovers. I think it might work. A couple of things to consider though, the recipe will have less liquid in it because you won’t have the cooking juices from the turkey cooking. You will also want to adjust the cooking time so the turkey doesn’t dry out. So, watch it closely. As soon as the stuffing looks like it is ready and everything is heated through, I think it would good to go. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes.

This was a huge hit! My husband and son demolished it. I recently had an oral procedure done, and needed something easy, soft, and delicious. This did not disappoint. I added apples, cranberries, and seasoned with lemon pepper, lots of onion powder, garlic, and sea salt. Next time I will crab cranberry relish. This will be on rotation.

I have cooked this before and everyone LOVED it, I am scaling down Thanksgiving Dinner and want to make this, but, in a larger baking pan, how long would I need to bake in oven please?
