How to Make Pecan Pie Cake in an Oven
Aunt Lou here.
As with many of our favorite crock pot recipes, we were asked how to make our Crock Pot Pecan Pie Cake by some of our readers. We absolutely loved the crock pot version, so I was more than happy to oblige, and now you have this yummy Pecan Pie Cake recipe for your oven!
This recipe is really simple. I just love simple recipes. They are a great way to boost your confidence in cooking if you are just starting to get the hang of it, and are great for seasoned cooks who are looking for something quick and easy to fix.
This cake is not a thick, fluffy cake. It is thinner with a crisp top that has a bit of a crunch and a gooey center that is melt in your mouth good. It seriously reminds me of a delicious pecan pie. If you love pecan pie, you are going to love this cake!

I’ve made this twice and both times I doubled the recipe for a 9 x 13 pan. Works out perfectly. These are really delicious and everyone, including myself, loves this.
Aditi says
Can you double the recipe?
Aunt Lou says
I haven’t tried doubling this recipe. If I did, I would use a larger baking dish and watch it closely the first time I baked it to adjust the baking time as needed for the larger cake. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
Brenda says
Can this recipe be doubled to fit in a 9 x 13 pan?
Aunt Lou says
I haven’t tried doubling this recipe yet. I think it could work, but the baking time may change, so you will want to watch it closely the first time you make it to adjust the timing as needed. If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!
