Cola Crock Pot Ribs

These Cola Crock Pot Ribs might just be the perfect ribs. They are fall apart tender, have an amazing flavor and are easy to make!

If you are new to cooking, I want to let you in on a little secret. Making ribs can actually be really easy. Even though this Cola Crock Pot Ribs recipe has quite a few ingredients, it is actually really simple. The crock pot literally does all the work to give you melt in your mouth, fall apart tender ribs. Give this recipe a try. You won’t be disappointed!

What You Will Need for Cola Crock Pot Ribs
Ingredients Needed
- 1 rack ribs (I used baby back ribs, and my package was 3.84 lbs.)
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 12 oz can cola
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons mustard (the yellow kind in a bottle, not ground dry mustard)
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 2 tablespoons water
Equipment Needed
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Microwave safe bowl or cup
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Garlic press
- Can opener
- Spoon or small stirring spatula
- Medium to large mixing bowl
- Whisk
- Stirring spatulas
- 6 Quart Slow Cooker
- Baking sheet
- Parchment paper
- Tongs
- Large saucepan
- Large spoon
- Small bowl
- Fork
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 7 to 10 minutes
- Cooking Time: 6 to 8 hours on low, rotating your insert halfway through the cooking time if your slow cooker does not cook evenly (I prefer to cook ribs on low so that they come out super tender.)
- Additional Time: 7 to 10 minutes

Cola Crock Pot Ribs
Ingredients
- 1 rack ribs We used Baby Back Ribs
- 1 tablespoon butter melted
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 12 oz cola
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place 1 rack ribs in a 6 quart slow cooker, salt them well.
- Put 1 tablespoon butter (melted), 1/2 cup finely chopped onion, 1 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic, 12 oz cola, 6 oz tomato paste, 1/2 cup water, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce, 3 tablespoon mustard, 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning, 1 teaspoon liquid smoke, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1 tablespoon cumin and 1/2 teaspoon pepper in a medium to large mixing bowl and stir with a whisk until well combined.
- Pour the mixture over the ribs.
- Cook for 6-8 hours on low or until they are super tender.
- Then throw your ribs on a lined cookie sheet and broil for a few minutes.
- Meanwhile pour the drippings and sauce from your slow cooker into a large saucepan. While it is coming to a boil, mix 2 tablespoons corn starch and 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl and pour into the saucepan. Lower heat to medium, stir continually until the sauce thickens.
- Spoon sauce on ribs and serve.
