How to Make Bow Tie Lasagna in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
This delicious Crock Pot Bow Tie Lasagna is a twist on Cris’ Easy Bow Tie Lasagna over on Goodeness Gracious. I not only made it into a slow cooker recipe, I also tweaked the cheese mixture a bit to give it a little different flavor. The results? Deliciousness!
When I first started out cooking, (ya know, when I was scared to death to make anything besides a meal from a box) making a lasagna was out of the question. I was terrified of even the thought of trying. However, with this recipe, anyone can make a delicious lasagna that will fill you up and is easy enough even a newbie, like I once was, can do it! I hope you and your loved ones love it as much as we do!

I made this last night fir me and my family and it was delicious!!! I doubled the recipe and added some Colby jack cheese to the top also used ground beef instead of sausage but it was amazing everyone loved it!!
I’m so glad you and your family enjoyed this recipe! Thank you for letting us know, it really makes our day!
How do you fry cooked pasta ?
Make that DRY
You measure the pasta while it is dry/uncooked. Then cook it until it is al dente. Hope this clears up any confusion!
Sorry ladies! I have updated the recipe. It is supposed to be ground sausage. Thank you for letting me know of my mistake. Enjoy!
What kind of ground sausage in this recipe? Country, or Italian, or something else?
Hi Susan!
The ground sausage I used was mild ground sausage. If you are enjoy a little more spice to your recipe, you can use spicy if you like. Enjoy!
Aunt Lou
In your crockpot bow tie lasagna recipe, under ingred. it states ground sausage…BUT under the directions, it twice says ground beef….which one is it please? I know one always has option to use beef OR sausage, but want to make it exactly as how you did…thanks!
Hello,
I am wanting to try this recipe, but do I use ground sausage or ground beef. The ingredients say ground sausage, but directions say ground sausage at one point then ground beef elsewhere.
