Are you looking for a great breakfast that your kids will love? This Crock Pot Breakfast Sausage Strata from Gooseberry Patch’s Slow-Cooker Christmas Favorites is just that!
Aunt Lou here.
Once again, I tried making something that I had never even had before. And once again, doesn’t “I just made a Crock Pot Breakfast Sausage Strata,” just sound so fancy? It may sound fancy, but it is good for all!
If your kids are anything like my two-year-old, then they will be eating this up like crazy and asking for seconds! It was also a hit with the hubs and me. We loved everything about the taste of this recipe…and I loved that it was a cinch to make!

This is a great recipe for so many reasons. I love that I can throw it together in 5 minutes or less, that it doesn’t take that long to cook and that it reheats wonderfully. I made this early in the week, and we had a great breakfast for most of the rest of the week. I would just grab a serving, heat it up and breakfast was served! It made mornings so easy!

Notes on Crock Pot Breakfast Sausage Strata
- I used my good ol’ favorite Hamilton Beach Programmable Insulated Slow Cooker for this recipe. As you know, I absolutely love how easy it is to clean. Baked up cheese comes off with a spray of water. It. Is. Awesome. Any 5-6 quart slow cooker will work great for this recipe though. 🙂
