      Hi Joseph!

I eat low carb daily and all I would do differently is I would serve this over riced cauliflower (you can find in your freezer section). I know some low carbers won’t eat the cream soups, but I personally don’t worry about the cream soups since it is only one can for a full recipe. I am sure there are homemade substitutions, but I haven’t tried any of them. Hope that helps!

    Hi, I love your recipes.
I have a question for you about your crock pots. I have the standard crock pot and love using it with your recipes. However, moisture seems to collect in the lid under the screws on each of my pots and I eventually get rid of them since it grosses me out! We don’t wash the pots in the dishwasher, we wash by hand.
Do you ever have this issue? Thanks!

      Hi Jillian-

So glad you enjoy the site! Lid issues are my biggest complaint with some slow cookers. I actually consider it when purchasing new slow cookers because I hate dealing with what you are describing. Some slow cookers even put a vent into the handle which makes it even worse. My biggest tip is that I hand wash and do not submerge the lids with the pesky issues. Then all I have to deal with is the steam… and most of the time, it does not cause long term trapped moisture. However, if given the choice, I prefer to buy slow cookers that have lids with minimal contact with their handles so I don’t have to be as careful. Hope that helps.

We love hearing from you, it totally makes our day! Please remember, our comment section is much like our dinner table... You don't have to like everything we serve up, but you do have to use your manners.
