How to Make Sloppy Joe Tater Tot Casserole in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
Have you tried any of our tater tot casseroles? They are SUPER yummy! So when thinking up new recipe ideas, Cris came up with the idea for this Crock Pot Sloppy Joe Tater Tot Casserole (now that’s a mouthful! lol). Since she does the low-carb thing, and I’m the Queen of Carbs around here, I am the lucky one that gets to give it a try! Folks, one word: delicious!
My Daddy gave this a try and gave it his official seal of approval…when he says, “You wouldn’t like it. So don’t eat it,” you know it is good, and he wants it all to himself! Regardless of Dad’s “dire” warning or maybe because we know it is really good when Dad says that, we all dug right in and it was super tasty! You don’t even miss the bun for your sloppy joe!
This is a perfect dinner for a busy weeknight as it is super easy to make. It is also the perfect recipe for a pitch-in (or potluck for everyone not from Southern Indiana ๐ ) It is a straight up comfort food casserole!
