These Crock Pot Spare Ribs are not a dump and go recipe, but it is a really easy recipe. However, it is not only easy to throw together, it tastes absolutely wonderful. Between the boiling, cooking low and slow and broiling, you get tender and juicy meat with your favorite bbq sauce caramelized on the outside. By using your favorite bbq sauce, you can tailor the the taste of this recipe to your preferences. It is awesome!

When my family tried these incredible ribs, their responses were so over the top that it was almost comical. Their eyes got real big, and they all made exclamations along the lines of, “Holy cow! What You Will Need for Crock Pot Spare Ribs

Ingredients Needed

  • 3 lbs pork spare ribs
  • Water
  • 10.5 oz can tomato soup, unprepared
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lite soy sauce
  • 1 cup bbq sauce (Use your favorite bbq sauce.)

Equipment Needed

  • Sharp knife
  • Large cutting board
  • Large pot
  • Tongs
  • Garlic press
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Stirring spatula
  • 6 quart slow cooker
  • Large baking sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Boiling Time: 15 minutes
  • Slow Cooking Time: 8 hours on low
  • Broiling Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Boil 3 lbs Spare Ribs cut into pieces for 15 minutes on stove top.
  • Use tongs to place the ribs in a 6 quart slow cooker.
  • In a small mixing bowl, mix together 10.5 oz Can Tomato Soup, 1 small yellow onion diced, 3 Cloves Garlic minced, 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar, 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce and 2 Tablespoon lite soy sauce and pour over ribs.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Use tongs to place ribs on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Slather ribs with 1 Cup Favorite BBQ Sauce and broil for about 3 minutes, watching closely.
