It is easy to make and is very filling. If you need to throw it on quickly, you can easily brown the ground Italian sausage and chop the pepperonis ahead of time. If you do that, you can just dump everything in your crock pot when you are ready to cook, stir and go!

What You Will Need for Easy Crock Pot Pizza Soup

Ingredients Needed

  • 2 lbs ground Italian sausage, browned and drained
  • 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 16 oz tub whipped cream cheese
  • 4 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2.25 oz can sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup pepperoni, chopped
  • Garnish: shredded mozzarella cheese

Equipment Needed

Time Needed

  • Prep Time: 10 to 15 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 4 to 5 hours on low or 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes on high, stirring once or twice during the cooking time and right before serving (This helps the whipped cream cheese meld with the rest of the ingredients.)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Italian ground sausage browned and drained
  • 24 oz Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cups Can Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Water
  • 16 oz Whipped Cream Cheese
  • 4 oz can sliced mushrooms drained
  • 2.25 oz can sliced black olives drained
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 cup pepperoni chopped
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese garnish

Instructions

  • Brown and drain 2 lbs Italian ground sausage.
  • In a 6 Quart Crock Pot, put the cooked Italian ground sausage, 24 oz Marinara Sauce, 2 cups Can Beef Broth, 1 cup Water (use the water to rinse out the marinara jar), 16 oz Whipped Cream Cheese, 4 oz can sliced mushrooms (drained), 2.25 oz can sliced black olives (drained), 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning and 1 cup pepperoni and stir until well combined.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-2.5 hours, stirring once or twice and right before serving to help the whipped cream cheese meld with the other ingredients.
  • Serve topped with Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.
