How to Make Easy Tomato Soup on a Stove Top
Aunt Lou here.
My family instant fell in love with the crock pot version of this Easy Tomato Soup stove top recipe that was submitted by Maude L., one of our readers. I was scrambling for something to make for dinner that would be quick and easy. Iyla, my youngest, asked if we could have that yummy tomato soup again. I had been wanting to try the crock pot recipe out on the stove, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity!
Wanna hear a story? The bowl, plate and spoon in the picture above were all my Gramma’s. I inherited them from her and love to use them when I am having a meal that reminds me of her. You see, when I was a kid, mom says I lived on grilled cheese sandwiches. Gramma made me plenty and often served them up with a bowl of tomato soup. I thought it was the perfect meal to serve up on her dishes. Another fun coincidence is that my Gramma’s first name was also Maude. I think she would have enjoyed recipe.
