Years ago, Momma made up the original Good Gravy recipe. We loved it so much that we started a whole series of Good Gravy recipes. You can find them all here. This Good Gravy Crock Pot Chicken Noodles for Two is the latest addition to list. This recipe is so simple to throw together, cooks quickly and tastes great. It is even picky eater approved. Good Gravy Crock Pot Chicken Noodles for Two
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs trimmed (If you prefer white meat, you can use chicken breasts cut into thigh size pieces.)
- 4 1/2 tablespoons golden mushroom soup
- 4 1/2 tablespoons cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ranch dip mix
- 1 1/2 teaspoons brown gravy mix
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- Pepper Jack Cheese
- 3 cups Reames Frozen Homestyle Egg Noodles still frozen, not thawed
Instructions
- Pour your soups on top.
- Sprinkle your mixes on top of the soups.
- Pour your broth over the top of your mixes.
- Cover your chicken with slices of pepper jack cheese. (I used 2 slices, but you can use as little or as much as you like. Adding more slices will make the cooking juices thicker and spicier. Few slices will give you a thinner cooking liquid with a less spicy flavor.)
- Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or high for 1-1.5 hours, stirring once halfway through cooking.
- Take your chicken out of your crock pot, place on a plate or cutting board, shred with two forks and stir back into cooking juices.
- Stir in frozen noodles.
- Cover and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes on high until noodles are cooked to desired texture.
