How to Make Lemon Pepper Chicken Tenders in a Ninja Foodi Using the Air Crisp Feature
Aunt Lou here.
These Ninja Foodi Lemon Pepper Chicken Tenders are so easy to put together, cook up quickly and are bursting with flavor! These delicious tenders are so quick to throw together. If you want to make fewer or more, you can easily adjust the recipe in the recipe card. (Click on the blue number of servings at the top of the recipe card and slide the bar to whatever number of servings you need. It will change the amount of ingredients in the recipe card to match your serving needs.) So, this is really a great recipe for when you don’t have a ton of time to spend on dinner. I threw on these tenders, cooked up some quick veggies and had some butter and herb rice. Dinner was ready in less than a half hour!
Even better, every single person in my house loved this recipe. My picky eater actually told me, “Mom! This is amazing!” On top of that, I made them for Michael’s birthday dinner this year. He went on and on about how much he loved the chicken and couldn’t believe how amazing they tasted. This recipe definitely has my family’s stamp of approval. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy it as much as we do!

Ninja Foodi Lemon Pepper Chicken Tender (Air Fryer Recipe)
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken Tenders
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning plus a little more if desired
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 minutes.
- Put your chicken tenders in a gallon size baggie, pour in your extra virgin olive oil, close baggie and gently shake the tenders around until all of them are coated.
- Open the baggie, sprinkle in your lemon pepper seasoning, close baggie, and gently shake until the tenders are well coated.
- Place 3 or 4 chicken tenders (you want one layer with them not touching) in your Ninja Foodi or 7 quart air fryer. If desired, sprinkle with extra lemon pepper seasoning. (The seasoning I used is incredibly flavorful, so I didn't have to use too much extra. It is totally up to your personal preferences.)
- Air fry for 4-5 minutes at 390 degrees. (The timing will depend on the size of your tenders. If they are smaller, start with 4 minutes. If they are large, start with 5 minutes.)
- Flip your chicken tenders and air fryer for an additional 4-5 minutes, until the internal temperature of your chicken tenders reaches at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Once one batch has completed cooking, place them on a plate and cover with aluminum foil while you wait for the other chicken tenders to cook.
- Repeat cooking time for remaining chicken tenders.
