How to Make Beef Noodles in a Crock Pot
Updated with video:
Cris here.
When Reames® recently contacted me and asked us to share a recipe using their frozen homestyle egg noodles in a sponsored post, I was so excited. I have loved using their product for years. I just knew we could share something with you guys that was super easy to make at home while having all that taste of homemade goodness that just reminds you of childhood like great comfort food always does… and then it hit me… Slow Cooker Beef Noodles.
Growing up on a beef farm, Slow Cooker Beef Noodles just says home to me. This is especially true as the days get chillier here in Indiana. I LOVE coming home from a long day and being able to to take a fall apart roast from my crock pot that has been cooking all day, shred it and toss in a bag of Reames® frozen homestyle egg noodles (Psst… check out their coupons here) and we have a cozy warm meal.
Reames® makes homemade meals like our Slow Cooker Beef Noodles super easy. You get all the homemade taste without the mess and time to make the noodles. Instead I can just grab a bag from my freezer and toss straight into the slow cooker. An hour or two later, my family has one of our favorite meals that tastes like I have been working away in my kitchen all day long.

Home, comfort foods.
My dad was the cook in our family and he had too many recipes that I enjoyed to pick just one: chicken fried steak with all the trimmings, country ham with pineapple, cloves, and cherries, come easily to mind.
However, I have to credit my 1st mother-in-law for her homemade noodles/dumplings and chicken! To die for! And, as hard as she and I tried, I never got the hang of making those noodles/dumplings the way she did.
I’ve only just discovered where in Houston I can purchase ReamesĀ® frozen noodles – YAY – sooooo… I’m excited! Now, if the grocers would only carry more of ReamesĀ® frozen noodle products, I might find myself in noodle heaven. š

My favorite “reminds me of home” dish is chicken and rice in patty shells. It was our family favorite, though not in the weekly rotation, so we looked forward to it all the more when Mom made it.
Thanks for all of your yummy recipes! I will also have to look around to see if I can find the Reames frozen noodles here in Maryland. I have never heard of frozen noodles (where have I been living?!) but I’ll bet they are perfect in the crock.
Happy Holidays to one and all, and best wishes for a wonderful 2017!
