    I love using the crock pot for summer sandwiches – Cheeseburgers, Loose Meat, Mississippi Crack both beef and chicken, Sloppy Joes to name a few ๐Ÿ™‚ – I throw the crock pot on the porch with some buns and chips, when someone gets hungry they know where to find a quick & easy bite to eat…

    I love making roasts, chicken dishes, casseroles, ribs, lasagna etc. I just love cooking in my crockpots. I have a Lima bean casserole cooking now.

  8. My First Slow cooker recipe I ever did was Green Salsa Verde Chicken for Taco’s !! A Friend made it while we were camping and she had her slow cooker on all day while we played ! Shredded the chicken and we were ready for dinner! I have been making it now for years and everyone loves it. Simple to do and you can change the ingredients to your personal liking. Another favorite is pulled pork for sandwiches and many more summer goodies!

  10. I love when I have company I can make meatballs and sauce for meatball hoagie or potatoes cut in half and grilled they can top with the meatballs and sauce and lots of cheese the sauce melts the cheese yummy

    I love the fact that I can cook good meals in the crock pot and not heat up the whole house. I have even taken it outside to cook.

  13. I like to make BBQ chicken in the slow cooker in the summer. It turns out delicious, and I can also shred the chicken and make BBQ chicken sandwiches too. I like to serve this with potato salad or macaroni salad, corn on the cob, fresh tomato slices from our garden, and watermelon.

    In the Summer we make LOTS of stuff in our crockpot and out instant pot since we spend a lot of time at our camper. My favorite meal in the crockpot is chicken and rice. In my instinct pot is your spaghetti and meatballs.
