How to Make 4 Ingredient Roast in a Crock Pot

Aunt Lou here.

I’m all for simple recipes, and it is even better when a simple recipe tastes great. That is the case with all of our recipes in our “4 Ingredient” line. This 4 Ingredient Crock Pot Roast is a great addition to all of these recipes. (Psst…if you would like to check out all of our 4 Ingredient recipes, you can find them here.)

When cooking a beef roast, I always cook it on low. By cooking low and slow, you can take a cheaper cut of meat and still have a fall apart tender result. I do not know the science behind it, but I know from cooking countless beef roasts in a slow cooker that cooking on low gives the best results. It is also great because it is an all-day recipe that can easily be put on in the morning before work and be ready for you to eat when you get home. I hope that you and your loved ones enjoy this delicious roast as much as we do at my home.
