How to Make Strawberry and Cream Oatmeal for Two in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
This Crock Pot Strawberry and Cream Oatmeal for Two is a favorite in my house. It is super easy and quick to throw together right before bed, and then you wake up to a delicious breakfast. The strawberries meld in with the oatmeal while it cooks gives it an amazing flavor. I always like to add a fresh strawberry on top when I serve it to add a little extra.
By using the double broiler method, it helps to make sure that everything is evenly cooked, and the edges do not risk burning. Having a sweet and filling hot breakfast greeting you in the morning is absolutely wonderful! I make a note in the recipe to make sure the water is not over halfway up the side of the bowl. The reason for this is because if the water is too high, it can end up getting into the bowl. So with a quick check of the water level, you can make sure you have success with this easy recipe!
