Believe it or not, there are times when even I, a person whose job is to cook new recipes, forget to plan ahead and just want to make a recipe with ingredients I have at my house. The flavors of all of the amazing ingredients in this Beefy Crock Pot Fiesta Rice and Bean Bowl just straight up pop. The beefy, beans, rice and tomatoes make it filling on top of being delicious! As an added bonus, this recipe is super easy to throw together.
Now, I want to talk to you about the package of saffron yellow rice authentic Spanish recipe. If you haven’t ever heard of a package of Saffron Yellow Rice Authentic Spanish Recipe, don’t worry. This ingredient may be nearby without you even realizing it. I live in the middle of nowhere in rural Indiana. We can get this at either Dollar General or Dollar Tree in my little town that doesn’t even have a regular grocery store. So, I am guessing you can find it too. Once you try it, I am guessing you will keep it as a staple in your house just like I do.
What You Will Need for Beefy Crock Pot Fiesta Rice and Bean Bowl
Ingredients Needed
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup white onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained
- 15 oz can black beans, undrained
- 16 oz can refried beans
- 32 oz container beef broth
- 1 oz taco seasoning packet
- 10 oz saffron yellow rice authentic Spanish recipe
- Optional: Tortilla chips for serving
Equipment Needed
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Measuring cup
- Garlic press
- Large skillet with lid
- Strainers
- Wooden spatula
- Can opener
- Spoon
- 6 quart slow cooker
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cooking Time: 5 to 6 hours on low or 2.5 to 3 hours on high, adding rice about 50-60 minutes before cooking time is up and cooking on high until the rice has reached desired tenderness

Beefy Crock Pot Fiesta Rice and Bean Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup white onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chiles undrained
- 15 oz can black beans undrained
- 16 oz Can Refried Beans
- 32 oz Beef Broth
- 1 oz taco seasoning
- 10 oz package saffron yellow rice authentic Spanish Rice
- Tortilla chips optional for serving
Instructions
- Fry your ground beef with your diced onion and minced garlic and drain.
- Put all of your ingredients, except for your package of rice, in your 6 quart slow cooker, stir until well combined, cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or on high for 2.5-3 hours.
- About 50-60 minutes before your cooking time is up, stir in your package of rice with seasonings. Cook until the rice has reached desired tenderness, stirring as needed. Serve with tortilla chips, if desired
