How to Make Best Cookie Cake Ever in a Crock Pot

We were down at Momma’s last weekend and she served us some awesome cookies. They were seriously hard to stop eating. They were that good. She told me she started with this recipe and made some changes. One of the main changes she made was she used white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips and butterscotch chips instead of all semi-sweet chocolate chips. I loved the combination of the three different chips. Together they are downright amazing!
The original recipe is a pretty standard chocolate chip cookie recipe except for one awesome addition, a vanilla pudding mix! I bet the original recipe is delicious too. However, with the addition of the extra chips, I think this cookie cake deserves the title of best ever! It is a very rich cookie cake, so you can cut smaller pieces and still get your sweet tooth fix.
What You Will Need for Best Crock Pot Cookie Cake Ever
Ingredients Needed
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3.4 oz box instant vanilla pudding
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
Equipment Needed
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Medium mixing bowl
- Whisk
- Large mixing bowl and electric hand mixer or stand mixer
- Paper towels
- 6 quart crock pot
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 7 minutes
- Cooking Time: 1.5 to 2 hours on high, rotating your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker doesn’t cook evenly

- This recipe can only be made in a slow cooker that does NOT cook hot. If your crock pot cooks hot, you will end up with burnt edges and a center that isn’t fully cooked.

Best Crock Pot Cookie Cake Ever
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 3.4 oz box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together your baking soda and flour and set aside for later.
- In a large mixing bowl (or the bowl from your stand mixer), mix together your butter, brown sugar and sugar until well combined with a mixer.
- Add your instant pudding mix and beat until it is completely mixed in.
- Mix in your vanilla and eggs (one at a time) until smooth.
- Gradually mix in your flour mixture to the mixing bowl until everything is well combined.
- Lightly grease your 6 quart slow cooker and press the dough into the bottom. Make sure the sides of your dough are thicker than the center since the sides will bake up faster.
- Place a couple paper towels tightly under the lid of your crock pot, cover and cook on high for 1.5-2 hours, turning your insert halfway through cooking if your slow cooker does not cook evenly. (It is done when the sides are golden and the middle is set.)
- Remove insert and set on a hot pad to let it cool completely before cutting.
