These Blackstone Loaded Hash Browns have it all! You have delicious hash browns, beef, garlic, peppers and cheese. Doesn’t that sound delicious? These hash browns are a quick and easy way to have wonderful meal.

When making this recipe, you will want to flip the beef mixture and hash browns quite a bit. If your Blackstone is anything like mine, it has hotter areas and cooler areas. By moving around the ingredients while you are cooking them, you can make sure that everything cooks evenly. Then you will have an absolutely wonderful meal to enjoy with your loved ones that did not take long to make and is easy to clean up!

What You Will Need for Blackstone Loaded Hash Browns

Ingredients Needed

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, washed and diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, washed and diced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 30 oz bag frozen shredded hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • Optional garnish: diced tomatoes, sour cream and additional shredded mild cheddar cheese

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat your 22 inch (or larger) Blackstone on low for about 5 minutes.
  • Use a squeeze squirt bottle to drizzle oil across the entire top of the Blackstone.
  • Put 1 lb ground beef of ground beef on one half of the Blackstone and break into smaller pieces with a long, flat spatula, add 2 cloves garlic , 1/2 large red bell pepper (washed and diced), 1/2 large green bell pepper (washed and diced) on top.
  • Spread 30 oz frozen shredded hashbrowns on the other half of the Blackstone.
  • Stir and flip the browning ground beef mixture and hash browns for 5 minutes before sprinkling 1 teaspoon onion powder, Salt and Pepper to taste and a drizzle of water across the hash browns (a quick zig zag up and down the hash browns with a squeeze squirt bottle filled with water will do).
  • Continue stirring and flipping seasoned ground beef and seasoned hash browns separately for another 3 to 5 minutes, until the ground beef is cooked through.
  • Once the ground beef is cooked, use the spatula to mix the ground beef and hash browns together.
  • Sprinkle 2 cups shredded mild Cheddar cheese across the top of everything and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Use your spatula to gently flip and stir everything so the cheese is more mixed in. and serve.
  • If desired, serve topped with diced tomato , sour cream and additional shredded mild cheddar cheese.
