How to Make Loaded Tater Tot Casserole in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
This Crock Pot Loaded Tater Tot Casserole recipe is amazing. Like, you are going to want to make it again and again amazing. I love how simple this recipe is to make as well. You and your loved ones are going to love it!
Some may look at this recipe and think there are not enough ingredients to be really tasty. That is just simple not true. The seasonings on the tater tots mix beautifully with the cheese and bacon, and that is before you even add whatever toppings you love! We absolutely love this dish at my house, and I bet you and yours will fall in love with it too!

What You Will Need
Ingredients Needed
- 32 oz frozen tater tots (kept frozen, do not thaw)
- 6 pieces of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- favorite loaded baked potato toppings (I used diced tomatoes, sliced green onions and sour cream. You can use whatever you prefer!)
Equipment Needed
- Skillet or griddle (for frying your bacon)
- Measuring cup
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Casserole Crock Pot or 6 Quart Crock Pot
Time Needed
- Prep Time: 15 minutes
- Cooking Time: 2 hours on high (turning your insert halfway through if your slow cooker does not cook evenly)
- Optional Broiling Time: 30 to 90 seconds (Watch your casserole closely and do not walk away. In the broiler, a recipe can go from perfection to burnt in the blink of an eye.)
