Another home run! This was delicious! I left out the garlic and added a can of (undrained) chili beans. Perfect!

I have made this once before and it was good. Tonight I am going to try it again and I am going to add nacho cheese and taco sauce and just add some things to it and see how it goes. Thank you for such an easy dinner idea.
Michelle says
It was ok – I will use it as a base and add other things to it. It was a little dry so I might add a can of corn with the liquid next time and I might add a little taco sauce for more flavor.

What I know of tater tot casserole it has a vegetable in it. So I added the green beans but otherwise this looks like an amazing recipe that I am cooking right now super simple! Thank you

Michael says
Question: Do the tots get crunchy or do they stay squishy? My family likes crunchy fries and tots.
Aunt Lou says
They are not crunchy. However, you can crisp them up a bit if you use a slow cooker with an oven safe insert and put them under the broiler. If you do the broiler step, watch them very closely since the broiler can take a recipe from perfection to burnt in a matter of seconds. Hope that helps!
Chris says
Made this last night was delicious but I think next time. I’ll only use half pack of taco seasoning.
