Budget Meal Plan: Week 14 just so happens to be falling on a holiday week. So, we are going to be focusing on budgetary ways to get through the holiday week.
Meal Planning on a Budget
Aunt Lou here.
Shew! Has your holiday season been crazy hectic? I know mine has! Last weekend, I went to four holiday celebrations in 48 hours. I am sure I am not the only one who feels like they don’t know if they are coming or going! I know that the holidays can bring lots of joy, but the holidays can also provide some added stress and extra strains on your budget. So, my thought is to take the menu this week and make it not only budget friendly but also easy to make. So we start using some holiday ham leftovers at the beginning of the week, followed by some quick and easy recipes in the middle of the week and finish up the week with a recipe that will be perfect if you are staying in for the weekend or going to a party where everyone brings something to eat.
Budget Meal Plan: Week 14
Monday: Crock Pot Ham and Beans (If you have a larger family, you can make double batch and just adjust the cooking time as needed. You will want leftovers for Tuesday.) with a pan of cornbread
Tuesday: Leftover Crock Pot Ham and Beans with an optional new side of Crock Pot Corn Casserole
Wednesday: 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Chicken with Crock Pot Cheesy Veggies (Again, if you have a larger family and need more servings so you can have leftovers, you can easily double this recipe.)
Thursday: Leftover 3 Ingredient Crock Pot Chicken with optional new side of Crock Pot Parsley Potatoes
Friday: Crock Pot Ham and Swiss Sliders and Sweet & Salty Crock Pot Party Mix
