Budget Meal Plan

Meal Planning on a Budget

Aunt Lou here.

This week for Budget Meal Plan: Week 34 we are going to use a simple trick. We are going to use recipes that do not have many ingredients. Using fewer ingredients means buying less, and we are going to save even more money by using recipes with ingredients that are not super expensive. Do not worry that you will be missing out on flavor, the recipes in this menu are flavorful and delicious.

When looking at the recipes, if you see that you will need more or less servings, it is easy to adjust the recipe card to meet your needs. You can change the blue serving number by hovering over it or clicking on it, depending on if you are using a computer or a phone to look at the recipe, and then adjust the servings number up or down to match what you need. Once you change the number of servings, the ingredients in the recipe card will adjust to match what you will need for your servings. If you are changing it drastically, be aware that may need adjust the size of slow cooker and possibly the timing. So, watch the recipes closely the first time you make them to know how to adjust the timing for your specific slow cooker.
