We are pretty crazy about our cinnamon rolls around here. From the recipe that pretty much put us on the map ( Crock Pot Cinnamon Roll Casserole ) to my personal favorite (Crock Pot Cinnamon Roll French Toast ) We LOVE to find ways to use cinnamon rolls in dishes to simplify them and give us great results every time!

And, with the cost of things these days, an incredible dessert with only two ingredients is a great way to keep expenses down this holiday season.

  • 21 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 2 12 oz tubes refrigerated cinnamon rolls (icing reserved)

A Few Notes on Crock Pot Cinnamon Roll Cherry Cobbler

  • This recipe was inspired by a recipe found in Gooseberry Patch’s newย Christmas at Grandma’s .
  • I made these in myย Casserole Crock Pot, however, you could make them in a regular 6 quart slow cooker, just layer alternating layers of the cinnamon rolls and cherries until you get them all in there.
  • I made this up with a paper towel under my lid to catch any liquid that collects on the lid to keep it from dripping down onto the cobbler.

Ingredients

  • 21 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 24 oz tubes refrigerated cinnamon rolls (2 – 12 oz) icing reserved

Instructions

  • Spray your casserole crock pot (or traditional) with cooking spray.
  • Cut cinnamon rolls into fourths place in a single layer on the bottom of your casserole crock or place a first layer in a traditional crock. (reserve icing)
  • Spoon cherry filling over the top (continue layering cinnamon rolls then cherries if using a traditional crock if needed).
  • Cook on low 2ยฝ to 3 hours until sides are golden brown and rolls are set.
  • Drizzle your icing over the top of your cobbler
  • Serve warm
